in Springfield, Massachusetts
AECON's proposal was thorough, professional and competitively priced. From the start, AECON was honest and up-front. We appreciated that. AECON is a small company that acts like a big company
not in terms of bureaucracy, but in terms of organization.

(The change orders) required a lot of patience, adaptability and strong anylitical skills. We had some difficulties with subcontractors, but AECON persevered to make things happen. They demonstrated excellent leadership, even under adverse conditions
the building is a good value. Certainly, our first experience with an industrial design/builder was very positive.l

Change orders taken in stride
49,000 square feet of maintenance and storage, and a 4,000 square-foot firehouse were completed in ten months, within very tight budget constraints. The maintenance and storage building is intersected by a steam trunk-pipe, and is located on a site grade which presented challenging design problems from the outset. The project was also saturated with more than 100 owner-requested change orders.
